Honoured to organise the 800th Commemoration of Lord Jigten Sumong's Maha Parinirvana.
As invited by Ven. Bikhu Sangasena, the founder of the Mahabodhi International Meditation Center, Leh-Ladakh, and Rev. Brahmarshi Patriji founder of Pyramid Meditation center, Andra Pradesh, India. HH arrived Vijayawada airport on Feb 15, 2017, at 8 am in the morning.
H.H.visited the Museum and then went to the ruins of old Buddhist sites. Thereafter HH visited the temple of Amravati, which was important place for the Kalachakra teaching and vajrayana Buddhism. It is said that the first kalachakra initiation and teaching were given here.
At the function H.H. gave the speech on the importance of Aana-Pana Sati Vippasana meditation and practices.There were people from different countries and there must be 20.000 people gathered for the function.
Next day H.H. visited to Sakyamuni Buddha Tapas Foundation & Reiki Initiative, the Vajrayana society in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. H.H. arrived there on Feb 16, 2017, by late evening. H.H. was received at the airport with warm welcome by the members of the society with garland of flowers in Indian traditional way.
On 17th, H.H. Has kindly blessed the initiation and empowerment of the Medicine Buddha (Vaisajya Raja), the King of medicine. On second day H.H. offered the empowerment of Vajrasattva. There were also teaching and meditation practices given by Dr. Wangchuk Dorji Negi, Dr. Ramesh Chandra Negi, Dr. Banarasilal from Central University of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath-Varanasi, and Khenpo Rangdol from Drikung Kagyu Monastery Jangchubling, Dehradun.
On 18th H.H. granted the Mahakala initiation, and on last two H.H. had wonderful pilgrims Dharma Tours to Ellora and its near by caves in Aurangabad.
