His Eminence Garchen said that His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang is the holder of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage and is a root for flourishing the Lineage, and also very important for all the Kagyu Lineages in general and for the Buddha Dharma as a whole. We make thousands offerings for all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, the White Tara Puja, Namgyalma Puja and the Three Deities Long Life Puja which is very important for the well being of His Holiness’ health, long life and peace and happiness for all. We also pray to pacify diseases, starvation, weaponry, warfare and crisis around the world in this modern time.
His Eminence further added that the White Tara is our all times Deity and since our Lineage masters and Kadampa masters like Atisha and all are linked with the White Tara, Rinpoche himself also devotedly prays for the White Tara. It will definitely stabilize Holiness’ health, extend Holiness’ life and merits for all sentient beings. This is our Guru Puja, so we welcome all our Dharma Friends and followers to participate and chant White Tara Mantras and also pray for World Peace.
Finally, His Eminence conveys many New Year Greetings & Tashi Delek for all disciples and Dharma Friends of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage around the world and prays for all good health, success, peace and prosperity throughout the year.
