Vajra Dakini Vermont
July 24 marked a historic event “Heart of Compassion”, sponsored by Sunray Meditaion Society and Vajra Dakini Nunnery in Lincoln Vermont. The event unites Spiritual teachers of the Tibetan and Native American tradition.
HH Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang opened the dialogue with a recognition of the union of all peoples as relatives finding connections of the Tibetan Wolf Clan to that of the Native Elder of the wolf clan of her nation.
He then connected compassion to the environment and acknowledged the many expressions of Native peoples that speak of “Mother Earth”. The Native American Elders from Arizona, Canada, New York and Alaska presented their teaching on compassion spreading first in the families then to all beings and the Earth as their relative.
A discussion ensued with the Elders and physicist regarding recent discoveries of energized water. 200 people then attended an Ekajati empowerment.
The discussions with the Native Elders and questions from scientists will continue along with a meeting and picnic with the Vermont Tibetan community and Nairatmya empowerment.
