World Culture Festival and the 35th Anniversary of Art of Living

IMG 3353On March 12th, 2016, His Holiness The Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang was invited to participate in the World Culture Festival and the 35th anniversary of Art of Living held in New Delhi, the capital of India.

As invited H.H. congratulated the organizer on the successful hosting of the World Culture Festival. HH expressed his appreciation on the great effort to the Indian yoga guru, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of The Art of Living, who has promoted the Indian yoga, physical and mental health skills, to the world for 35 years.


IMG 3348His Holiness said the essence of The Art of Living is "compassion and wisdom", and, also have helped a lot of people overcome various ailments besides promoting good health.

"Compassion and wisdom" is the common essence of all religions, only with"compassion and wisdom" to guide the society, human beings can eliminate all kinds of conflict and discordance between human beings and, also humans with nature.

Lastly, His Holiness wishes yoga guru Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar a long and healthy life, continue to expand The Art of Living to the rest of the world, to benefit all sentient beings.

IMG 3355World Culture Festival is a ceremony emphasizing "the world is a big family" atmosphere; delegates and visitors from all over the world were waving the banner of many countries and regions, unite through culture and arts and, enhancing communication.
