Today on 20 June, the 12th phase mega plantation drive was conducted for the first time in Kargil District at Bodhkharbu, in the noble presence of His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Thinley Lhundup.

This 12th phase plantation drive was kindly attended by many high competent authorities led by the first Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh R K Mathur,
Shri Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Honorable Member of Parliament, Radhika Anand Planetology (org), the President of Kargil Buddhist Association Skarma Dradul, Join Secretary LBA Leh, President LBA Yoth Leh, Chakzot Chemdery Monastery, General Secretary Go Green Go Organic, Dr. Thinley Dorjey (Dampo) Nominate Counciller Bodhkharbu Padma Dorjey, and many other distinguished Khanpos, Drupons,Tulkus, Monks, Nuns and the Gobas of Bodhkharbu, Sarpanch, Panch, BDC and all the people coming from different regions of Leh & Kargil and different corners of UT Ladakh.
However, in this mega plantation drive three lakhs sapling i.e Willow 114,000, Sea Buckthron 100000, Poplars / Yolat 10000, Sya and Juniper 6000, Variety Fruits 50000 have successfully planted on the Brak Dok Thang of Bodhkharbu, Kargil District, UT Ladakh.
In addition, a speech was delivered by all the high competent authorities putting their noble views and a series of traditional songs and dance were gracefully performed by the artists from different part of India.
