This morning His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Thinley Lhundup left from Jispa and travelled across Taglang La.

His Holiness was formally received at Rumtse Leh Manali Road by dignitaries including H.E. Ladakh Chosjey Togdan Rinpoche, H.E. Drukpa Thugsey Rinpoche, H.E. Chokyong Palga Rinpoche, Chogzot from Himis Monastery, Chedey Monastery and Karzok Monastery, Matho Monastery, MP Ladakh, the Chairmen/CEC LAHDC Leh, Executives and councillor of LAHDC Leh, President of Ladakh Buddhist Association and Ladakh Gonpa Association, representatives from villager from Sham, Lalok-Changthang, Phaynag and other.

Arriving at Phyang Monastery, monks and lay devotees made traditional reception holding scarves, flowers and incense, lined the road at Phyang, and Holiness briefly met with SSP Leh and representative of various members of Phyang and others.

His Holiness assumed his seat in the monastery where all the distinguish and representatives gathered, representative of Phyang Monastery and president LBA and LGA, MP Ladakh, the Chairmen/CEC LAHDC Leh, Executives and councillor of LAHDC Leh made a Mandala offering to His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Thinley Lhundup. Addressed the assembly and short speech.

His Holiness then left for Private Residence.
